A total of 18 Dongfeng vehicles were handed over to the Executive Committee of the 7th Military World Games at the headquarters of Dongfeng Motor Corporation in the Wuhan Economic and Technological Development Zone (WHDZ) in Wuhan, Central China's Hubei province, on July 21.
These vehicles will serve the nationwide torch relay for the 7th Military World Games from August to October.
The 18 vehicles in six models will be use used for commands, safety, media, and more, helping to ensure a successful torch relay.
A team of 10 professional technicians from Dongfeng Motor will also serve the relay.
The 7th Military World Games will be held in Wuhan from October 18 to 27. The event is one of the largest international sports events in China. It is expected to attract hundreds of millions of audience from around the world.
The 18 vehicles will start the torch relay in Nanchang, Jiangxi province on Aug 1, the birthplace of the People's Liberation Army, and travel to Wuhan from there.
