WHDZ promotes garbage sorting

Updated: 2019-07-17

A garbage sorting class was offered to teenagers in Jiangdayuan Community in the Wuhan Economic and Technological Development Zone (WHDZ) in Wuhan, Central China's Hubei province, on July 15.

The activity consisted of three parts –– a class on garbage sorting, games related to garbage sorting, and making recycling bags.

The event was meant to raise teenagers’ awareness of garbage sorting and environmental protection, and was also part of the zone’s efforts to welcome the upcoming 7th Military World Games in Wuhan in October, according to organizers.
