A delegation led by Peng Hao, director of the Management Committee of the Wuhan Economic and Technological Development Zone and head of Hannan District, investigated the construction of the National New Energy and Intelligent Network Automobile Area on July 13.
Li Lin and Huang Yuanfeng, leaders of the district, were also involved in the investigation.
The innovation service center project is currently under construction, with the main structure near completion.
Officials said the bidding and procurement work on interior decoration and other important areas has been completed.
The delegation visited the data center, exhibition center and command center successively.
Peng Hao stressed that these three centers should be built at a faster pace, since there were less than 100 days before the opening of the Military World Games.
Peng Hao affirmed the work progress of relevant departments and asked them to strive to complete the intelligent transformation of a 16km road network covered by 5G signals and the construction of data processing platform in early September.
The exhibition center of the demonstration area，located next to Jingkai Avenue, is divided into two floors, with a total exhibition area of 2,000 square meters.
The first floor focuses on “Innovation and Intelligent Manufacturing in the Future", comprehensively showing the current application needs of automatic driving related technologies, existing relevant resources in Wuhan and its basic conditions.
The second floor is mainly a command and dispatching center.
Officials said it presents data and applications of intelligent transportation and internet of vehicles through LED displays to realize visual representations, intelligent monitoring and predict intelligent transportation and the internet of vehicles.
