A delegation from Redco Group, a domestically listed property enterprise, visited the Wuhan Economic and Technological Development Zone (WHDZ) in Wuhan, capital of Central China's Hubei province, on July 1 to discuss cooperation on the construction of smart cities.
The group was led by Huang Ruohong, chairman of the board of Redco Group. Peng Hao, director of the administrative committee of the WHDZ, met with the delegation.
Redco Group intends to build a smart industrial park in the WHDZ focusing on scientific innovation. It will include an area for company headquarters, an internet sci-tech innovation incubation center, an innovative technology research and development center, and a smart living area.
Peng said that the zone is currently in a key period of industrial transformation and upgrading, and smart cities are one of the zone's key development areas.
Many hope that Redco Group will accelerate progress on their smart industrial project in order to help attract related industries to the zone, Peng added.
