A meeting between the Wuhan Economic and Technological Development Zone (WHDZ) and Jianghan University was held at the university in the WHDZ on June 20. The two parties discussed cooperation between the zone's companies and the university.
Chen Junjie, deputy director of the human resources department of the WHDZ, briefed participants on the zone and its companies, as well as the zone's preferential policies for graduates, and expressed hope that more graduates from Jianghan University would choose to stay in Wuhan and work in the WHDZ.
Yang Guangmin, director of the university's recruitment and employment office, introduced the university's professional training system and technological research.
Representatives from the university's colleges and the zone's companies also discussed employment.
Li Weidong, vice-president of Jianghan university, said at the meeting that it is the university's responsibility to help develop the local economy, and that the university will actively cooperate with the zone in teaching, scientific research, and employment.
Jianghan University has established various cooperation mechanisms with the WHDZ over the recent years.
