A delegation from Wuhan Airport Development Group visited the Wuhan Economic and Technological Development Zone (WHDZ) in Wuhan, Central Chinas Hubei province, on June 12, to discuss further cooperation.
The delegation was led by the group's chairman Hu Chengqi and welcomed by Peng Hao, director of the administrative committee of the WHDZ.
Wuhan Airport Development Group was established in Wuhan in April 2015, and the group's subsidiary Wuhan Municipal Construction Co Ltd is based in the WHDZ.
Hu said that the group has undertaken more than 70 projects in the zone with a combined contract value of nearly 10 billion yuan ($1.44 billion). He said he hopes the group will carry out more projects and invest more in the WHDZ in order to contribute to the zone's development.
Many companies have come to the WHDZ since Wuhan Municipal Construction Co Ltd was first established in the zone, boosting the zone's growth, said Peng.
The group and zone are expected to deepen cooperation in aviation, sewage treatment, and a number of other areas, Peng added.
