A delegation from the China Construction Seventh Engineering Division Corp Ltd visited the Wuhan Economic and Technological Development Zone (WHDZ) in Wuhan, capital of Central China's Hubei province, on June 3, to discuss further cooperation between the two sides, particularly in the tertiary industry.
The delegation was led by Fang Shengli, chairman of the company. Peng Hao, director of the administrative committee of the WHDZ, welcomed the delegation and met with them.
Peng explained the zone's economic and social development situation, and said that the WHDZ is currently in a key period of upgrading its industries.
It is expected that the company will support development of the zone’s infrastructure and service sector to help it develop better in the tertiary industry, added Peng.
Fang said that the company leads in the country’s investment and financing field and is currently constructing three projects in the WHDZ that cover a total construction area of 640,000 square meters and are valued 930 million yuan ($134.66 million).
For the next step, the company will conduct more in-depth project inspections in the zone and further increase investment, Fang said.
