The 2019 World Fly-in Expo concluded at the Hannan General Aviation Airport in the Wuhan Economic and Technological Development Zone (WHDZ) in Wuhan, capital of Hubei province, on May 21.

The four-day event consisted of eight aerobatic flights, two competitions, and eight interactive activities. A total of 1,016 flights were performed.

Drone competitions proved popular during the expo, with 60 people from throughout the country showcasing their drone skills.

This year's event attracted nearly 80,000 visitors, with 700 of them riding in hot air balloons or trying out the wind tunnels.

The third session of the event is expected to be held in 2021, and Wuhan will host the 114th plenary session of the Fédération Aéronautique Internationale in October 2020.
