To welcome the 7th Military World Games (MWG), which will be held in Wuhan from Oct 18 to 27, a walking event was held at Longling Mountain Ecological Park in the Wuhan Economic and Technological Development Zone (WHDZ) in Wuhan, Hubei province, on May 11.
Participants walked a total of 6.26 kilometers, starting from the west gate of the park and journeying to Jiuquwan Wetland, a flower slope, a lotus pond, and a tea garden before returning to the starting point.
A total of 95 teams made up of representatives from the WHDZ government and companies located in the zone took part in the event to show their support for the MWG.
