In response to practical needs, it has built an international sports culture leisure park, which has four sub-parks themed on football, tennis, table tennis and amusement. The football park officially opened in March 2016 and is the largest outdoor football field in China, the tennis sub-park has the most courts and generally the center has the best equipped and most complete facilities in China.
It is also advancing autodrome projects to promote Wuhan as the city of automotives.
Moreover, it has launched the construction of an international sports culture square in Wuhan. The 60 mu (4 hectares) project is to meet the requirements of two events -- the 2019 CISM World Games and the 2019 FIBA Basketball World Cup.
The center is multifunctional with innovative management and development. It not only enriches and satisfies the cultural, sports and leisure needs of locals but has also developed into a sport and cultural hub and become a name card of the city. In a word, it has proved profitable both socially and economically.
