China wins two titles at 2019 Badminton Asia Championships

China won two titles out of five competitions during the finals for the 2019 Badminton Asia Championships, which were held at the Wuhan Sports Center in the Wuhan Economic and Technological Development Zone (WHDZ), Wuhan, Hubei province, on April 28.

In the women's doubles, Chen Qingchen and Jia Yifan from China took the title after defeating Mayu Matsumoto and Wakana Nagahara from Japan. The final score was 19-21, 21-14, 21-19.

In the mixed doubles, Wang Yilyu and Huang Dongping from China successfully defended their title against He Jiting and Du Yue, also from China. The final score was 21-11, 13-21, 23-21.

In the men's singles, Kento Momota from Japan defended his title against China's Shi Yuqi with a score of 12-21, 21-18, 21-8.

In the women's singles, Akane Yamaguchi from Japan took the championship after defeating He Bingjiao of China. The final score was 21-19, 21-9.

In the men's doubles, Japan's Hiroyuki Endo and Yuta Watanabe won the title after defeating Marcus Fernaldi Gideon and Kevin Sanjaya Sukamuljo of Indonesia. The score was 21-18, 21-3.
