The Chedu Staff Culture Center lies to the south of Tanghu park in the Wuhan Development Zone and to the east of Xinghua Road on the lake peninsula. Covering an area of 11.7 hectares, the garden-like center reflects the beautiful natural scenery and good ecological environment of Tanghu park.
The center has invested about 123 million yuan ($18.80 million) in construction of more than 20,000 square meters of art galleries and libraries.
At present, the center is undergoing redecoration, and it is expected to reopen this October.
