Dongfeng Motor Corporation based at Wuhan Economic and Technological Development Zone (WHDZ) in Wuhan, Central China's Hubei province, has recently signed a cooperation agreement with Wuhan University of Technology (WHUT).
The two plan to carry out R&D of fuel cell core technologies. In addition, they expect to help improve the training of each other's professionals.
Fuel cell vehicles have zero emissions, high efficiency, and diversified fuel sources, playing a key role in the sustainable development of the automobile industry.
Dongfeng was the first company in China to research fuel cell vehicle technology, and had links with WHUT as early as 2005.
