New stamps mark 40th anniversary of reform and opening-up

China Post issued a new set of commemorative stamps to mark the 40th anniversary of China's reform and opening-up on Dec 18.

A ceremony was held in Quanlinan Community, Wuhan Economic and Technological Development Zone (WHDZ) in Wuhan, Central China's Hubei province, to mark their release.

The set includes two stamps and a miniature sheet, showcasing how China's reforms have impacted its citizens and the contributions that individuals have made.

Representatives from China Post Wuhan Branch and WHDZ announced the issue of the stamps, attracting attendance of more than 200 stamp collectors from the province.

In addition, a stamp exhibition highlighting four decades of change was held in the zone, with some enthusiasts showing off their collections to visitors.
