A delegation led by Jia Baojun, chairman of China Aviation Supplies Holding Company, visited Wuhan Economic and Technological Development Zone (WHDZ) on Feb 23, to discuss about cooperation in fields such as aviation security, aircraft disassembly and maintenance, and general aviation with the zone.

China Aviation Supplies Holding Company is a state-owned enterprise specializing in procurement of aircraft and the support of aircraft equipment. Its major businesses include aviation leasing, general aviation, aviation energy saving services, and aviation training and exhibitions.
During the meeting, Hu introduced the economic development of WHDZ to the delegation, and said that the zone has attracted numerous projects in emerging industries such as aviation, hydrogen energy, robotics and artificial intelligence.
In recent years, WHDZ has been accelerating the development of general aviation and satellite industries, setting up the largest general aviation airport in central China and successfully holding the 2017 World Fly-in Expo.
With some projects being attracted to the zone, the general aviation sector in WHDZ has seen rapid growth.
During the meeting, Jia introduced the company’s development and expected to deepen cooperation with WHDZ in general aviation industry.
