Human resources bureau of Wuhan Economic and Technological Development Zone (WHDZ) held a job fair on Jan 24, the first job fair in the zone in 2018.
A total of 75 companies from Zhuankou district and Hannan district participated in the job fair, offering more than 3,500 job opportunities.
Jobs included machine operators, engineers, financial staff, electricians, and sales personnel, involving industries such as automobile and auto parts manufacturing, service sector and logistics.
According to an official of the zone’s human resources bureau, over 8,000 workers are needed in the zone’s auto parts and plastic injection industries.
More than 600 job seekers consult at the job fair, and 382 of them have reached employment intention with employing units.
From Jan 24 to early March, 14 comprehensive job fairs will be held in WHDZ, according to the zone’s human resources bureau.
