A group of representatives from well-known companies based in Zhejiang province visited Wuhan Economic and Technological Development Zone (WHDZ), in Hubei province, on Jan 10.
The delegation visited Dongfeng Passenger Vehicle Company, South Taizihu Innovation Valley, and Tanghu cultural center for staff members in the zone.
“The development, investment policies, transportation, and living environment in the zone all impressed me deeply,” said a member of the delegation.
Jointly organized by WHDZ and China Zheshang Bank Wuhan Branch, the activity aimed to help investment in the zone and promote cooperation between the zone and Zhejiang-based companies.
The manager of the zone’s investment bureau said that WHDZ has formed industrial clusters for automobiles and parts, electronic appliances, food, and pharmaceuticals, and it is currently developing industries including robotics, smart homes, and general aviation.
WHDZ will improve its services to seek more cooperation with companies in Zhejiang province.
