A German business delegation led by Dr. Dirk, senior representative of the German government and senior official from the Ministry of Commerce, came to Wuhan Economic and Technological Development Zone (WHDZ) to discuss the investment of Björn Steiger Foundation in the construction of air rescue projects on Dec 5.
Peng Hao, director of the administrative committee of the WHDZ, received the delegation.
Peng commented on economic and social development conditions in the WHDZ. He pointed out that presently, the district is accelerating the development of general aviation and satellite industries while continuing to expand leading industries such as automobiles.
He added that the district is willing to cooperate with Germany to introduce advanced emergency rescue system into China.

Dr. Dirk said that the WHDZ unswervingly accelerates the development of the general aviation industry, adding that the high efficiency of local government strengthened their confidence in the investing. He noted that he will coordinate the two sides as soon as possible to determine the cooperation items.
Björn Steiger Foundation, the founder of the German aviation rescue system, is a world-renowned civil rescue organization that has cooperated with numerous countries in the design, establishment, management and operation of aviation rescue systems.
The foundation intends to carry out cooperation with China's aviation rescue system, including the maintenance and training of emergency rescue equipment. In the future, it will also introduce manufacturing projects such as emergency rescue helicopters to China.
