Wuhan Tianhe International Airport
Wuhan Tianhe International Airport (ICAO: ZHHH, IATA: WUH,) serves Wuhan, the capital of Hubei province. It was opened in 1995 and is located in Wuhan's suburban Huangpi District.
The airport is one of eight regional pivotal airports in China, a national first-class civil airport and the biggest aircraft maintenance base and 4F airport in central China.
The airport is one of the country's busiest. Its passenger throughput of 18.94 million travelers made it the busiest airport in central China in 2015. It is the only airport in that area that has direct flights to four continents. Currently, it has 39 international direct flights.
Tianhe Airport gets 4.45 for passenger satisfaction from Airports Council International, which puts it in the top 100 airports in the world.

Wuhan Hannan General Aviation Airport
On Aug 5, Wuhan Hannan General Aviation Airport, the biggest general aviation airport in Hubei province, hosted its first test flight.
The airport is also the first general aviation airport in Wuhan, capital of Hubei province. This November, the first World Fly-in Expo (WFE) will be held there.
The Hannan General Aviation Airport covers an area of 919 mu (612,667 square meters) and has a total investment of 1 billion yuan ($151 million). Its runway is 1600 meters long and 30 meters wide.
Construction of the airport's airfield has been completed, and the rest of its structures are receiving finishing touches. The project was originally scheduled for completion before Oct 1.
During the WFE, about 1000 aircraft will be displayed at the airport.
After the expo, the airport will be open to the public and offer general aviation services such as emergency air rescues, private jets and air patrols. It also will form a network with the general aviation airports in Jingmen, Suizhou and Xiantao.
According to The Mid-to-long-term Development Plan of General Aviation in Hubei, the government plans to construct 20 general aviation airports during the 13th Five-Year Plan period, which will cover 17 cities and counties. One goal is that provincial aviation emergency rescue flights should arrive in 30 minutes.
