Business Park

Updated: 2017-10-20

The Wuhan Business Park is centered on three modernization themes. It serves as an "industrial service center", an "urban function center" and a "regional fashion center" to develop producer services, consumer services and all kinds of cultural creative industries.

(1)Area and location advantage

Positioned as a political, cultural, economic and transportation center in the Wuhan Economic & Technological Development Zone (Hannan) and covering an area of 60.94 square kilometers, the business park is striving to become a modern service demonstration park with influence throughout China.

The central area of Hannan Shamao new district, spanning an area of around 22.57 square kilometers, will build a manufacturing logistics service base and fuse together a European-style town and a professional education industrial park.

With remarkable location advantages, perfect business supporting functions, an ecological environment and convenient logistics transportation, the park is an important force in development of the new center of the city and the internationalization of Wuhan.

The park is where the administrative organs, public service center and other administrative resources are located, and where well-known commercial corporations, such as Aeon, Wanda and Xianglong, are concentrated.

Educational resources in the park are abundant and its advantages are obvious. It contains a university, twenty-four primary and secondary schools and two international schools.

It also has comprehensive facilities for health, sports and fitness, such as Union Hospital, Yaxin Hospital, the Wuhan Sports Center, and Oriental Golf.

(2)Industrial development layout

With the idea of "Based on the current situation, plan long-term for sustainable development", the park will build a modern service industry system to add to its solid industrial foundation. The system will encompass the industries of modern business, medical services, education services and real estate.

The park will also have components of other industries, such as technical services, cultural and sports and financial services.

Ten industrial clusters and industrial parks to serve the digital publishing and cultural creativity industry, e-commerce, engineering design and financial services will eventually be established.
