The 2026 China Drift Championship (CDC) is set to take place from Oct 30 to Nov 1 at the Wuhan International Circuit in the Wuhan Economic & Technological Development Zone (WEDZ).

As China's premier national-level drift competition, the CDC is celebrated for its exhilarating displays of high-speed control, tight corner drifts, and tandem battles. Last October, the championship made a spectacular debut at this venue, drawing nearly 200 drivers from across the country.

This year's event promises even more excitement, featuring 30 professional racing cars and approximately 50 skilled drivers, including the top drift teams from China and 10 drivers from Mongolia, Russia, Malaysia, South Korea, and the United States.

Running alongside the CDC is a more accessible timed slalom competition, open to amateur car enthusiasts and offering grassroots racers a chance to shine on a competitive platform.

A new highlight of the event is the electric vehicle showcase race, which emphasizes the zero-emission and high-torque capabilities of new energy vehicles and demonstrates the event’s commitment to green racing.

Six consumer-oriented events will also take place, including an automotive aftermarket exhibition, a creative trunk market, and a DJ electronic music stage, offering a comprehensive and immersive automotive celebration.

The 4.29-kilometer circuit is China's first eco-friendly international secondary circuit built along a riverbank, serving as a vital hub for both racing and vehicle testing in Central China.
