Meritar Supply Chain Co in Wuhan Economic & Technological Development Zone (WEDZ) is set to establish a cutting-edge research and testing base for supply chain software and hardware, bolstering China's manufacturing capabilities.

Meritar, which established a presence in WEDZ in 2012, has grown into a national high-tech enterprise, specializing in the development of digital supply chain management systems and intelligent logistics equipment management platforms.

The company serves prominent automotive manufacturers such as Geely and BYD, along with globally recognized component firms including Bosch, Magna, and CATL. It has also expanded into high-end sectors including aviation and telecommunications.

Meritar's revenue skyrocketed from over 20 million yuan ($2.99 million) to 769 million yuan from 2014 to 2025. Deng Airong, chairman of Meritar, highlighted the company's focus on developing a comprehensive supply chain management system, prioritizing the autonomy and control of core technologies.

Its proprietary system spans technical, execution, and planning layers, seamlessly integrating software and hardware.

The system consolidates five major resource categories, fostering an innovative "scenario-driven" model and building a multi-national industry knowledge base.

This system has reduced overall supply chain costs for OEMs (original equipment manufacturers) by 18 percent, improved supplier on-time delivery rates to 94 percent, and lowered stockout risks by 65 percent, ensuring mutual benefits across the industry chain.

Meritar has established operations in South Korea, the Philippines, Malaysia, Thailand, Mexico, and Brazil. The system's cross-border multi-domain data isolation architecture complies with various national regulations, enabling overseas projects to be implemented within 30 to 45 days.

Meritar plans to establish a supply chain software and hardware R&D testing base, deepen AI applications in supply chains via private cloud infrastructure, and enhance its services, reinforcing its role as a leader in global manufacturing solutions.
