China Dongfeng Automobile Industry Import & Export Co, a key player in Dongfeng Motor Corporation's international expansion, has established a presence in the Houguan Lake headquarters hub in the Wuhan Economic & Technological Development Zone (WEDZ) to accelerate the zone's automotive industrial chain.
Dongfeng Import & Export, focusing on introducing advanced technologies and promoting joint ventures, boasts a diverse export portfolio, featuring renowned brands such as Voyah and M-Hero, as well as commercial vehicles.
The company aims to collaborate with WEDZ's vehicle and component manufacturers to enhance its global market presence, thereby supporting WEDZ's vision of establishing a global automotive industrial chain.
The nine-square-kilometer Houguan Lake headquarters hub, adjacent to the university innovation economic belt, the financial services, and the business and leisure zone, is currently home to over 20 headquarters enterprises, including China Construction Technology Central China Headquarters.
"Authorities are dedicated to attracting major industry leaders to strengthen the industrial chain and foster clusters of upstream and downstream enterprises, driving a comprehensive upgrade in the region's business, scientific innovation, and industrial capabilities," said a local official.
