Dongfeng Yuexiang Technology Co, a subsidiary of Dongfeng Motor Corporation, signed agreements on Sept 23 with 14 universities, including Xiangyang Polytechnic University and Rizhao Polytechnic University, to establish a pilot base for intelligent connected vehicles.
This base will develop an integrated training system with four platforms and three studios, where students can participate in real-world industry projects, and faculty members can engage in cross-disciplinary research and technological innovation.
Dongfeng Yuexiang is committed to delivering seamless, high-level autonomous driving mobility solutions and produces, sells, demonstrates, and promotes automotive-grade driverless vehicles.
The company's autonomous container trucks operate at Yangluo Port, Xiamen Port, and Longbang Port, while its driverless buses are deployed across 15 provinces in China, with over 2 million kilometers of operation and more than 300,000 passengers served.
