Voyah Auto launched its Dream 9 on Sept 22 in Beijing, pricing it between 419,900 and 529,900 yuan ($79,010), setting a new standard in the high-end multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) segment.
Lu Fang, chairman of Voyah Auto, highlighted how the Dream 9 exemplifies the brand's extensive in-house research and development expertise, particularly in terms of chassis and body design.
Lu added the vehicle features an integrated laser-welded door ring and a 2,200 MPa ultra-high-strength steel cage body, as well as China's first self-developed intelligent chassis for flagship MPVs.
This advanced chassis includes a tri-chamber air suspension and dual-valve EDC continuously variable damping shock absorbers, allowing for millisecond-level adjustments to suspension stiffness and vehicle height. A dual-direction 10° rear-wheel steering system provides a turning radius comparable to that of a mid-sized sedan.
All models of the Dream 9 come equipped with an 800V high-voltage platform. The plug-in hybrid version supports 5C ultra-fast charging, achieving a 20 percent to 80 percent charge in just 12 minutes. The all-electric variant boasts a 120 kWh battery, offering a CLTC range of 701 kilometers.
The Dream 9 is built on a full-domain L3 architecture and features Huawei's intelligent driving ADS 5 system, including 37 smart sensors, such as the latest generation 896-line dual-optical path image-grade main LiDAR and three solid-state blind spot radars.
Voyah Auto, Wuhan's first high-end smart new energy vehicle brand, has established a product lineup that includes sedans, SUVs, and MPVs. The Dream series has attracted over 200,000 users and the right-hand drive version of the Dream 9 is set to launch in November.
