Guodu Securities Co is to set up its Hubei branch in the Wuhan Economic & Technological Development Zone, or WHDZ – located in Wuhan city in Central China's Hubei province – according to local media reports.

Guodu Securities is a comprehensive securities company that offers diversified financial service platforms based on the securities business.

The company was successfully listed on the National Equities Exchange and Quotations board – or NEEQ – in 2017. After years of development, it has 56 securities business departments and four branches nationwide and is said to have leading business coverage and business capabilities in the sector.

Currently, the WHDZ is reportedly making efforts to expand its financial sector.

The Hubei High-Quality Development Industry Investment Fund – with an initial scale of 15 billion yuan ($2.32 billion) – was unveiled in the development zone on June 28.

Plans are for the WHDZ to further boost the development of its financial sector, offering incentives and grants worth up to 100 million yuan.

To date, the development zone has attracted about 90 fund partnerships and fund management companies to settle there. Of these, 50 are funds partnerships with a combined (check) scale of about 42 billion yuan.
