Updated: 2018-01-31

Hu Yabo, Party secretary of Wuhan Economic and Technological Development Zone (WHDZ), together with other officials, visited the zone’s workers, as well as seniors in a nursing home on Jan 29.

Heavy snow has recently swept across Wuhan, and various departments in WHDZ have actively removed ice and snow on the roads, to ensure companies and residents can continue life as normal.

Hu visited bus drivers and reminded them to pay attention to traffic safety rules.

While visiting Ankangyuan community, Hu Yabo thanked the volunteers who removed the ice and snow on the road, and told the director of the community to focus on the quality of care for the elderly residents.

Hu also visited the traffic department in the zone and told the staff to always pay attention to road conditions.

Sanitation workers in the zone bear the brunt of clearing ice and snow, making a significant contribution to ensuring the safety of local residents.

Hu visited sanitation workers in the sanitation office on Zhuanyang Street, and vowed to protect workers against cold and freezing conditions, as well as to pay more attention to safety.

After visiting workers, Hu came to Zhuanyang nursing home to visit seniors, telling the director to ensure that residents stay warm this winter.
